Hi Kari! I love the look of this hat! I'm on row 6 of the ripple pattern and have a quick question: what is repeated 4x? ...is it the entire row, the SSK, or something else? Can you or anyone assist me on this? Thanks! ~Judy
ReplyDeleteYou would repeat the whole pattern section (K2tog. K2. M1. K3. M1. K2. SSK) 4 times to complete the stitches in the round so the pattern goes all the way around.
ReplyDeleteThe K2tog, K2,M1,K3,M1,K2, SSK) only uses 11 stitches of the 44 on your row, so you would need to do this same pattern in the row to use up the remainder stitches.
This is the same in the 8, 10, 12 and 14th rows. Hope this helps you out!
Excellent! Thanks Kari. The hat is turning out beautifully...I think it will be one of my faves! :)
DeleteThe actual repeat of the pattern is actually repeated 12 times (11x12=132) not 4 times.
DeleteHey what do you mean by (repeated 3x each row), like repeat each row 3x? Sorry if this is a stupid question.
ReplyDeleteSo far loving this.
